I was playing Minecraft pvp for the first time and I had a mixed experience. There were a few glitches on the server I was playing on (Zeqa) and I did encounter a few hackers. But I did still have a lot of fun and My most played ranked game mode is No debuff but my most played game mode was the Nethpot game mode that I made in custom duels. And the free for all playground mode was amazing and super fun.

This one is a little older but I thought it was really cool The Girl from Everywhere. It's a time traveling ship? and they can go anywhere, even fantasy places, as long as they have a map! So they end up kind of like pirates, using maps to get rich... The book is about ending up in Hawai'i in like 1868? and they get involved in a real history looting of the treasury that's kind of wild.
Some Desperate Glory is another really good one that involves time travel lol (i like time travel books). It's about growing up in a fascist cult on the moon, and realizing too late that it's a fascist cult, and trying to fix things to make it better and atone for being so thoroughly brainwashed. it's sooooo good when i got to the first plot twist i was so shocked i dropped the book lol

There's 4 and they start out like an old school fantasy story but it turns out they're science fiction with aliens and the MC eventually realizes they talk and are people. There's a ton of other stuff going on, too, just really cool and I don't want to leave too many spoilers!
a completely different style of "encountering aliens" is A Desolation Called Peace but you gotta read the first book A Memory Called Empire which is neat because it's a far future civilization inspired by classical China, and one space station that isn't part of the empire has people with "imagos" in their heads - literally the recorded memories of their predecessors. So the ambassador has the knowledge of the one before, or expert pilots or whatever. The empire doesn't know about it but suspects and really really wants to get their hands on whatever tech the station has. The MC is the new ambassador after the last one mysteriously died without sending back updates to his memories like he was supposed to. And then the second book is about dealing with the fallout AND trying to communicate with scary aliens.

You could see if any of your relatives have small jobs they could pay you to do, too. But it should be actual work, like if someone wants a room painted, or to clean out the garage. idk there's lots of things they might want to pay someone to do.
