uncertain about how reccomendations work

Hi, I'm actually uncertain how to get rid of certain recs as in I've tried and tried to get rid of a certain sexist author who I absolutely can not stand but to no avail.
No matter how I've tried recs for him come up daily - arrrrgh!

- ah (that's better) an arrrrgh is so nice sometimes!

1. Hover over the cover of the book.

2. Click Dismiss.

3. Click Dismiss Author.

(No slight on Adam Roberts who is not a certain sexist author!)
