How to insert a serie in a book page

I'm new in Librarything; I started to scan barcode of by books and I'm making few corrections to data I get.
But I'm not able to fill in the field "series": if I clic on it this message is shown:
"Notice: The information that you are about to edit is part of Common Knowledge, a set of data that is shared by all LibraryThing users.
Please read the Common Knowledge help before continuing."
How can I fill-in serie as, I add every other field?

>1 Desko78: You are in the old style series when they lived in CK - before they got rebuilt. These are not editable anymore.
What you want is the new series section in the Work page. You cannot do that from the catalog directly as you could with the CK - you need to go to the work page.
