Intermittently getting this blank response when ADD COVER from web

Anybody else have this problem? It's intermittent, but regular.
I've been doing a lot of cover changes because I changed my setting to not use Amazon covers and now have a zillion default covers. If there is not already a matching member uploaded image, I copy the URL of a matching Amazon one and use that URL to upload. I'd say about 1 out of every 10 or so gives me the screen shot below. I could be wrong but it seems to be worse in the evening more like 1 out of every 5. In any case, I simply try again and then it works the second attempt (occasionally takes three attempts).
I'm using
Windows laptop
OS Name Microsoft Windows 11 Home
Version 10.0.26200 Build 26200
Chrome browser
Version 149.0.7827.102 (Official Build) (64-bit)
ETA: I have a Chrome extension loaded called "LIBRARY EXTENSION" which searches libraries that I have set up in it and returns any library locations where there are copies of the book I have on my screen. (It's VERY handy.) https://www.libraryextension.com/?utm_source=libraryextension.com&utm_conten...

This is likely because Amazon is sending the request through their automated bot checker that tests your browser. The image uploader requests the image from Amazon directly from your machine in the background and then injects/displays it in our editor, but it's not using a true browser load as it would happen if you just requested it as a plain URL. I'll see about using our server as a fallback (although we'll likely have the same issue).
All services (LT included) are having so many problems with bots that we are putting up barriers that make normal "friendly" operations hard. This is likely one of those cases.

Another note. It's been happening for quite a while. Maybe since I first started using LT last August or so. But since I'm doing so many right now, it seems worse. (Probably really not.)

>3 conceptDawg: I see. That might explain why it seems worse lately; maybe they've tweaked their bot checker.
Bummer. I hate bots as much as the next human user, so I'll just have to cope. And be super glad when I get them all re-set!

>5 DebiCates: One workaround I use that usually works: Open the Amazon cover in the picker window and save the image, then re-upload it. It's work, and it probably rescales the image, but the "Amazon" cover then becomes an LT cover.

>6 waltzmn: Thanks Robert. I appreciate the alternative! If it ever fails without fail, I'll do that.
Even with having to try the upload twice, it's pretty quick. Maybe takes me 2 seconds for the first try, and 1 second for the second try since the URL is already in my clipboard.
I thought maybe it was an LT bug that the developers might want to look at. It only annoys me right now because I'm doing so many.

I'm still going to look into it. I'll see if I can get it to retry without having your intervention.
