I've gone to Settings and verified that "New Recommendations" is not checked. I do have notifications on for comments & messages.
I continue to get emails and LT messages (see copy pasted after my comments) about a weekly basis. I'd like to stop this since I have way too many TBO to need recommendations. And being able to stop running unwanted recommendations should free up some computing time.
This issue has been mentioned by several others in https://www.librarything.com/topic/384015 which I found when searching to see how to stop it happening in my account. That topic started in April, seemed to get resolved, but is noticed again in July. However I haven't noticed any significant stoppage in the extraneous recommendations.
Apparently no one in that talk has posted this as a bug, so I am.
