I have trouble finding new books. I like teen fantasy that is funny. I don't like that much romance. If anyone knows of any books I might like could they please post them here? Heres a list of books I like:

Artemis Fowl and it's sequels
The Amulet of Samarkand and the rest in the trilogy
Fablehaven

I also liked Science Fair because it was really funny even if it was not fantasy.

Ann MacCaffrey's Harper Hall Trilogy.

Have you read any Terry Pratchett? Try Guards! Guards! for a taste. Have you read Patricia Wrede's Enchanted Forest Chronicles? Dark Lord of Derkholm by Diana Jones? (That's Diana Wynne Jones, but the author touchstone won't work for her full name. She has lots of books that are great, but this one is a good start.)
Magyk is the first of a fun series by Angie Sage. Also, try fantasy by Eva Ibbotson, Flora Segunda and its sequel by Ysabeau S. Wilce, and the Keys of the Kingdom series by Garth Nix.

Alternative start point for Terry Pratchett would be The Wee Free Men. Ibbotson books include Witch Week and Dial a Ghost. Have you tried Tamora Pierce? How about Pawn of Prophecy by David Eddings? The Book of Three by Lloyd Alexander?

I have read some of Terry Pratchett's books. I loved Eva Ibbotson's book three years ago! I have read a lot of book's by Diana Jones and Dark Lord of Derkholm I can't wait to read. I still love the Enchanted Forest Chronicles
I have read Magyk, it was very good. Skulduggery Pleasant is one of my favorites! It is so funny! Right now I am reading Dragonquest, but I find it's hard to get through. Is the Harper Hall Trilogy better?

How about Mister Monday and sequels by Garth Nix?

You could try the Pendragon books by D.J. MacHale or Ranger's Apprentice by John Flanagan.

I'm not sure if they're funny exactly, but I quite like the Stravaganza series by Mary Hoffman. It's not really pure fantasy, but more like alternate history plus time traveling. (Renaissance Italy has magic! And there is romance, but it's all incidental to the plots, and mostly because the main characters are teenagers :P)

I don't like romance plots much myself, either.

Rapunzel's Revenge by Shannon Hale is a graphic novel and lots of funny with cool illustrations.

I wouldn't say the Harper Hall Trilogy is better. It's a lot more of the same, but the heroine is more interesting than Lessa, I guess. The only thing with Pern is that romance is a huge element, so I'd hesitate to recommend the series for someone who doesn't like romance.

(eta: not sure why, but the touchstone for Shannon Hale isn't working - I really enjoy her stories, but the novels probably aren't what you're looking for, pwaites.)

The Harper Hall books are less complex than Dragonquest They provide a good introduction to the Pern series. It would probably also be more interesting to read Dragonflight before Dragonquest.
