Thanks kmhale, I've no allergies so that is not an issue at all. I just want to see if I like the writing style before I commit to buying the books in Hardcover. Working in a book store has its advantages. :)

#6 Mooched!
Condition notes: It's well used, with some aging shown on the spine. No wrinkling, dog-ears, or water stains. No smoke scent, either. About the kind of condition you'd expect an older paperback to be in, if given reasonable care.

Thanks for going to the extra effort about e-mailing regarding condition. I'm not fussy though, unless it is smoky or falling apart.

#102: qforce: I just heard back about the paperback- unfortunetly this is the condition:

I bought this book used for a college class. There are highlighting and pen marks on about one quarter of the pages, and there is shelf-wear. The spine is cracked in the middle and the cover has leftover residue from where the used sticker once was.

Hope this helps... Let me know what you think. (I am assuming this is too beat up as you did ask for a condition)

If I had known my TBR piles would become this big, I would have been more rigorously looking for a fellow booklover to marry.
