I just picked up this mysterious painting. I have no idea what book it is for. This is written on the back. I've tried Rickover Plot, McHover Plot, Nickhover Plot, no luck. Found a couple of "S. Holland" authors but no one that look they would write something like this. Anyone have any ideas?

The auction house I bought it from doesn't have a clue what it is.

Thanks everyone!

I swear I've seen that book cover - somewhere, sometime. I'm trying to remember.

This looks like the style of the covers of the romance/thriller writer, Isabelle Holland. It's also the sort of title she used. However, I can't find anything of hers related to that title. It could perhaps have been one of hers that was eventually published under a different title?

There is Nick Carter book called The Nichovev Plot, perhaps Isaacs is the artist not the author. And of course Nick Cater is a pseudonym for several authors, I believe.

I found a blurb on The Nichovev Plot: "Killmaster Carter stops death-worshipping occultists who have kidnapped the Russian premier."

Fits along with the cover, best lead so far. Thank you!

Thanks. I did a librarything search for 'plot' sorted alphabetically, then looked at all "The ------ Plot" titles to see if anything looked like a possible fit.

Tracking down the cover now that was good work.
