Make "Your world" clickable

(Ugh, I'm already disliking what I named this topic. Please ignore that part).

I found myself bouncing back and forth between Your posts and Your groups to read new messages. Sometimes I post in groups I don't watch. Sometimes I read topics in a group and don't post on them.

What I wish is that "Your world" or some sort of link would blend both together, because that's really what I'm wanting to look at in talk 90% or more of the time. It could probably be handy if it also included "Your starred" as well. The same rules would apply as any of the other links - newer touched threads at the top.

Anyone else think this would be useful to them?

ETA: The more I think about it, the more I think it's probably a poor idea to make it the "Your world" link, since that implies it includes everything in the "Your" seconds below it, and I wouldn't want to include "Your books." I thought of "Your topics", but that implies topics that you start. No idea what you'd label it at the moment.

I like jjwilson's idea from another thread of putting checkboxes beside Your Groups, Your Starred, etc., so that Talk shows all the categories we've checked.

Bumping this because Tim seemed amenable to the idea of a combined Groups/Posts/Starred view.

Is this the sort of minor thing that could happen soon, or are you delaying all Talk improvements until you redo the whole thing?

The latter. It doens't make sense to improve code that is being rewritten. We have two people on this, and I'm spending my evening doing it now. So, patience.

Patience isn't my forte, but I'll try ;). I wasn't sure how much of the code was reusable and how much you would be scrapping entirely.

I'm also a bit concerned that nice little additions could get lost in the huge uproar that accompanies any dramatic change, but we'll see.

You know, I think we'll knock this out in stages. We're pretty close to replicating the current structure now, but with better "flow" (eg., ajax, not reloading). That might be stage one.

Oh good, I like stages. It's much more satisfying to see some progress being made.

So I made that suggested before. My memories going but at least I'm consistent.
