When I add a book by its ISBN and let that ISBN search in the Koninklijke Bibliotheek, the books shows up as it should be. But then, when I click it to add the book to my library, it lists it as some schaduw42 book, and has no title or author or whatsoever. Since the "book" is recently added only by some other dutch library-people, I think there is some kind of bug between Koninklijke Bibliotheek and librarything-addy.

BTW, it's a new bug - when I added some books a couple of days ago, everything seemed to work fine ...

It's not a new bug so much as an old one that keeps recurring, or that only occurs some of the time. I've been tracking it at http://www.librarything.com/topic/80849
but it's been extant at least since November with no resolution (though several developers have popped in and declared it "interesting"), so I think your best chance is to either manually edit the book or delete it and add it from a different source.

I don't know why they don't seem to care about it. I'd have thought a cataloging bug would be taken seriously.

Tx for the reply. Being patient is sometimes the best thing to do, everythng seems to work fine now.

If you choose to manually edit the book, it will also need separating from the black hole work and after that combining with the work it really belongs to.

I'm glad it's working for you now, but this bug will recur, for you or for other users, and it would be really nice if the developers would actually fix it rather than just calling it "interesting". They claim to take data loss seriously, after all, but 11,000+ lost titles would seem to argue otherwise.
