"... a more concrete connection between Pelasgian and Etruscan?" (394)
No, --not enough is known about Pelasgian to connect it with any known language; nor is Etruscan itself completely deciphered, though more is known about it than about Pelasgian, about which only a few inferences can be made, on the basis of place-names. The Romans believed that the Etruscans were from Lydia in Anatolia (what is now Turkey). The Lydia--Tuscany migration is not believed by historians and comparative philologists who have some knowledge of Lydian. But Pelasgian could well be related to the Anatolian languages of 3-4 thousand years ago.
In the case of "olympos", itʻs assumed that the first Greeks in Greece asked the native Pelasgians the name of the local large mountain, and through language mixups, the Pelasgians thought they were asking the definition of it, and answered that it was a "mountain" (olympos). This explains why there are many "olympoi" besides the famous Mount Olympus.
