It appears that the count of copies for each edition on a work's editions page is double what it should be. Here's a simple case:
http://www.librarything.com/work/2328309/editions
Only one person has the book, I only have one copy, but it's showing 2 copies
This has been around a while and mentioned before, though I can't find the reference.
Here's another example:
http://www.librarything.com/work/3566744/editions
All the counts are even, and total to 24, which is exactly double the member count.

I have pointed it out twice. Can't think why this bug is so down the list. Here is my previous post

It first appeared at the end of May:
http://www.librarything.com/topic/91708 - Tim made a change to the way zero-edition works are counted, which he referred to in message 99 (May 31). The bug is referred to in message 104.

Fixed. It was combining the cached and the "real" (calculated) counts. I may take away the later, since it's rather wasteful of resources to be calculating it every time.

Awesome! Even knowing this bug, it's tricked me time and time again.

So this is definitely back.
Here's some examples:

http://www.librarything.com/work/1404667/editions/5673559
http://www.librarything.com/work/83166/editions/6463995

http://www.librarything.com/work/4615516/editions/5091404
http://www.librarything.com/work/259776/editions/4189406
They all have 8 members, but the editions counts add to 16.
Hope this isn't being missed due to the needs discussion status.

I got it, finally. Basically, for a certain category of books (ones without too many copies), it was calculating the counts twice.
