This book came out several years ago, but I am a petite person who has tried many things unsuccessfully to lose weight. If there is any brainwashing, it is that exercise is the only way to lose weight. The strength training is way more important. I found that out by accident, so I know this guy is telling the truth. I even watched a big Youtuber talk about how when she was overweight, she would jog like crazy and not lose weight, but when she scaled back and concentrated on her diet (keto for her), she lost weight and didn't have to worry about crazy exercise. By crazy I mean strenuous, long term and painful. This book said you should cut back on TV and move so much a day. I can do those things. He was also very complimentary that petites can achieve curves easier than tall people. We do have our challenges, and I think he tackled quite a few of them. I bought this at a thrift store, but the advice given would have been OK to me at full price. The diet is reasonable. And "cheats" are even built in. ( ) no reviews | add a review
