The main character scathe is described as male, but on further reading we discover that he is in fact an haemaphrodite who burns people if he touches them. The book contains incest, nudity and self-mutilation and would not be recommended for high school students as it contains too many complex issues. ( ) no reviews | add a review

Humanity has been almost destroyed. Bran the Raven and his band of revolutionaries set out to defeat the evil ruler known as the Rat and rescue three of their colleagues from slavery. Prophecies of blood and uprising foreshadow their journey to the Kingdom of the Rat, but neither the Raven nor the Rat can have any idea of the storm that threatens to engulf and destroy them both.
