Ask students questions about the cover page to get them thinking about what they book may be about. It is a touching story that would do well as a read aloud, or read along with so students could practice reading stories with comprehension. The pictures on every page help students not become overwhelmed with the other page filled with words. Good story to teach about resourcefulness, and change.
This book will be very interst book for those kids that like surprises
