A mopey vampire is mopey.
Lots of style. Almost no story or character development. Slow in a way that would have been great if there was a story. It's memorable, and rewarding, and the sort of movie that's far more enjoyable to think about than it is to watch. My wife described it as "a warm blanket." I'm not so sure about the "warm" part, but it is something you can be enveloped in.

A cool, slow, Jim Jarmusch film. More of a narrative than usual for Jarmusch and the leads are both gorgeous in their own special way. What's not to like?
