Marvelous collection of Yarbro's short stories featuring the good-guy vampire Saint-Germain. Ranging through history right up to modern times (an era Yarbro seldom ventures into), these stories pack a lot of punch into a few pages. Those who find that Yarbro's fascination with history tends to make her (also excellent) novels drag will enjoy these even more.
