Jimmy's Boa Bounces Back

While this one doesn't hold quite the charm for me of Jimmy's Boa Ate the Wash, it's still fun to see Jimmy, Meggie, and the boa in a new setting! The garden club meeting makes for some funny exchanges between the boa, the garden club members, and the punch bowl.

Summary:
In this book Meggie is telling Jimmy about what happened at her mom's garden party. Meggie's mom wore Jimmy's pet boa to her garden party. While there the snake caused a huge ruckus.

Personal Reaction:
This is a very funny, immaginative book. The illustrations are very colorful and exciting.

Classrom Extension Ideas:
1. This book could lead into a lesson about snakes.
2. This book could also be used to teach about pets. The students could draw a picture of their oen pets.
