Description

The search for a theory to explain the enigma of the Turin Shroud continues. Many people want the shroud to be proof of Christ's mission, but Knight and Lomas argue that it is not. They propose that behind the shroud is a tale of pride, greed, power-lust and suffering.

The Turin Shroud has been a controversial item since it first bobbed up in the late 14th Century. Some people think, for whatever reason, that it was the cloth that Jesus was buried in while many others believe it is a medieval forgery. The authors have their own idea on what the shroud is, which is neither Jesus nor forgery. That idea involves the Knights Templar, Freemasonry and, of course, Rosslyn Chapel in Scotland.

The book could be much worse, I suppose.
A good theory about the shroud, and some neat information on the demise of the Templars. A bit more believable than their first work and a neat read.
