First hand account of Buzz Aldrin's career as an astronaut and his becoming the second man to step on the moon. Interesting facts about the space race with Russia, makes for a balanced look at this part of histoy. Not a lot of personal stories of Mr. Aldrin that do not deal with his life outside of the astronaut ranks.
Picking up where The Right Stuff left off, and commemorating the 20th anniversary of Apollo 11 and the historic moon walk, here is not only the incredible personal story of one of America's premier astronauts, but the whole story of the spirit and challenge of the Apollo Space Program. 16 pages of photos.
