No mention of Harry Potter but it was obviously designed to appeal to HP fans. Clever writing, snark superior tone of the voice of the mysterious wizard Coralis who is imparting his knowledge of wands to the apprentice reading the book. Nice mentions of real historic figures. Comes with wooden wand, crystals, sand and feathers (my copy missing all but the wand).
The Wandmaker’s Guidebook is an interactive companion book designed for fans of magic, fantasy, and hands-on creativity. Presented as a guide for apprentice wandmakers, it introduces readers to different wand woods, magical cores, wand lore, and the traditions of crafting a powerful wand. The book includes activities, tips, and space for readers to design their own wands, making it a blend of fictional world-building and DIY creativity rather than a narrative story.
