The Infirmary

Having recently read the first book in the series, Holy Island, I knew in this prequel what the outcome would be and also that some characters are not quite what they seem. Loved the book though which is well written and kept me hooked right from the start.

Jonathan Keeble does an excellent job of narration and brings the characters to life.

The beginning

Interesting to read a crime novel when you know the outcome already (if you have read the others in the series) but nevertheless it pulls you in....

This had a few issues, but I was largely willing to just go along with it. And overall I was entertained.
