A very good introductory guide to the newish scientific endeavour of rewilding. Having a background in biology would certainly help understand the content, but the book is written in a clear and concise way that many lay-people could also easily follow. Photos and diagrams are used to effectively support and visualise the text.

Paul Jepson started his career in urban conservation before moving to Asia to set up conservation programmes. He is Senior Research Fellow in Conservation Practice at the School of Geography and the Environment at the University of Oxford. Richard Ladle spent 15 years teaching conservation and ecology at the University of Oxford and other UK show more universities.
