Description

Sierakowiak died of tuberculosis, exhaustion and starvation in Lodz Ghetto, one of more than 60,000 Jews who perished in the notorious urban slave camp. His diary, found stacked on a stove, ready to be burned for heat, is the teenager's legacy.

Un altro "Diario di Anna Franck". Probabilmente un falso storico, ma che importanza ha?
Il Diario di Dawid Sierakowiak è l'unico documento che ci è giunto dal Ghetto di Łódź. Il diario inizia il 28 giugno 1939, poco prima del quindicesimo compleanno di Dawid, e si interrompe il 15 aprile 1943, quando il ragazzo compie 19 anni. Morì l'8 agosto di quell'anno di tubercolosi (fonte: Wikipedia)
