Tracy never thought high school would be so hard. So many faces, so many classes, the building is always so dark. It's hard for her to keep track of it all. Even after she gets glasses, nothing improves. Tracy's friends are pulling back, all except the boy next door who is helping her train her German Shephard for obedience trials. Tracy is hiding a secret, a secret that she might be going blind.

Deborah Kent grew up in Little Falls, New Jersey, where she was the first blind student to attend the public school. She has written more than twenty novels and numerous nonfiction books for children and teens. She enjoyed interviewing the deaf students who are featured in this series.
