Wonderful tips. No,no for newspapers for cleaning glass, use paper towels. Added cost for hand soap is simply not worth it. Consumer Report style.

Cleaning supplies, a $10 billion dollar industry in America, with very little consumer disclosure or assistance. By keeping consumers in the dark, large monopolist industries have been able to sell the same chemicals at dramatically increased prices. Dishwasher detergents. Incompletely dissolved d. can cake in the dispenser or leave a film or powder on dishes. Don't store box under sink or in moist area--it has lost its strength and dissolvability.
