The theme is how vamps were at major historical turning points. The stories involving Teddy Roosevelt, Harry Houdini, and the Trojan War were pretty good. The rest were kinda dull. Oh, there's one by Harry Turtledove tho, that really kicked butt. Too bad it was one of the few that did. I did enjoy the retelling of the Illiad, and copied it for one of my lit professors. He's a huge Iliad/Odyssey fan -- so much so that he has read it in Greek and Latin -- and I knew he'd love how the writer followed the style. no reviews | add a review
