One of the best, earliest, and standard works on Roman history that I have owned. This was my college textbook and I've read it profitably for years.

Marcus Tullius Cicero (106-43 B.C.E., pp. 210-211) has a basic biography on him.

The Verrrine Orations (http://www.librarything.com/work/718086/72388831) is his two volume diatribe against Verrus. Cicero (http://www.librarything.com/work/63773/28544057, pp. 76-80) has a sound account of the entire affair.
