Beyond Innocence

Quite enjoyable. The unrequitted longing thing (that's finally requitted) can be so sexy when done properly. I find Holly hit or miss, but this one was a hit for me. Just kinky enough without being over-the-top uncomfortable.

I enjoyed the struggles that everyone had. It made it easier to feel for all of the characters. I also enjoyed that they touched on subjects which still affect many people to day.

This book was a disappointment. The storyline dragged on forever, with numerous details that bored me to death. The whole book contained two hot romantic scenes worth mentioning, but were missing Emma Holly's unique writing abilities that have always left me so touched after reading. I am so thankful that I have read Ms. Holly's other books, and know she is so much better than this book represented her.
