Okay I feel like the hero was an idiot in this one. He schemed to get the heroine to marry him but after he accomplished it, he failed on the follow up. On their honeymoon he didn’t even try to woo her. That was the point in a Lynne Graham book for example he would have making her every day a blissful one. This guy though got pissed because she didn’t want to go two rounds on their first night so he ignored her for the rest of the time. That wasn’t the only time he failed to man up. Still readable. (

Book description

He'd promised her her heart's desire. For years Sophie had avoided being absorbed--however kindly--by the powerful Marchese family. Now she had to swallow pride and misgivings alike to help finance Mark's business so that they could be married.
