Cookbook with recipes organized by the seasons, using the calendar to show both seasonal ingredients and holidays and festivals. so the june recipes feature creole tomatoes, and are best cooked in june. I don't know that I've ever actually made anything out of here. I find Emeril a little annoying. But the format of the book, with the recipes sorted by holiday or festival, is cute. Unfortunately, the recipes themselves are fairly uninspiring. If I want Cajun food, I'll take Paul Prudhomme. This was a gift from an old boyfriend, so I can't part with it, of course. no reviews | add a review
