Well-written, chucklesome rhyme on the subject of porcine shenanigans.
This lyrical tale of a man who gets overrun with pigs is full of fun and laughter. The different ways they arrive and the different clothes they wear (including underwear) gives any young reader a giggle. Beautifully illustrated and wonderfully written.
Part B/picture
This amusing picture book talks about a man facing some unwelcome visitors: pigs. The pigs come in different colors, such as black, white, brown, and pink. In addition, they have on the cutest outfits, from tutus to stilts. They do everything from making oatmeal in the sink, making music into the night, and ordering pizza. What they leave behind is one incredible piggy mess. When the man orders the pigs to leave, they beg to stay. The pigs may stay on one condition: they must clean up the messes that they created. The book is charming, fun, and hilarious!

Younger children will love this book! The authors choice of word is silly and rhythmic and sure to keep the kids attention and the illustrations have so much detail in them, it'll be easy to spark conversation with students. Using this book while teaching rhyming words will help make the concept of rhyming stick. Reading this book more once is recommended.
Adorable story of when pigs stage a house invasion, order pizzas they can't pay for, have a wild party, make an enormous mess, are shamed into cleaning up after themselves and fall into bed exhausted. McPhail's colorful, detailed illustrations offer lots of scope for interaction with children, and unlike so many children's books, it features accurate rhyme and meter schemes.
In my opinion, this book's text structure makes the story fun and interesting. Rhyming words catch the attention of the reader. The book does a good job bringing silliness and rhymes together to create a funny story that I enjoyed reading.
Pigs Aplenty Pigs Galore is a great picture book for kids. It is full of beautiful illustrations that complement and extend the text. The story is about a man who hears a noise one evening coming from the basement. Out of the basement come a group of pigs, they bother the man. They make a mess of his house, are noisy and more and more keep showing up. Finally the man has enough and makes them all clean his house and sends them to bed. Then in the man’s sleep, he dreams of the night all over again.
I enjoyed the book and the illustrations are great for kids to look at while they are read the story.
