I hear so much about "JUICING" that I wanted to find a book that breaks it down such as machines recommended and why; what vegetables and fruits juiced or blended together works well; and this book even lays out different health-related ailments or issues that most people may have experienced or suffered from...and if we get our health back in order, may reverse the process, and get off pills or things that one was taking to be physically healthy (again).
For example, I have GERD (acid reflux) for many years since I became overweight/obese, and now suffering from headaches/migraines. So I have tried detoxing as a solution to help my body get back on track but as we try to change the cycle of our body...then we put junk back in. I also show more want to see weight loss the healthy way, but juicing as an alternative for certain vegetables and fruits I do not eat raw or whole, and usually blend to get them in my diet.
I love the "Health Conditions" section, where you can see how you can maximize or minimize the foods in and out of your diet to help prevent or minimize a health problem that you may have. I will review for migraines and take notes for sure. If they have for PMS, those cramps get me, and need to know more so what foods to digest, and to reject!

This is a book I really need to own as a reference guide, not simply check out of the library. Way too much info to take in all at once. Good nutritional info and recipe for things other than juices and smoothies. Very comprehensive.
