Just Me is about a little boy who mimics the movements of different animals he finds outside his home. But when he needs to run to catch up with his father, he runs just like himself – no need to imitate anyone else.
The illustrations are all black and white charcoal drawings. The lack of color and dark background around the subject on each page draw the eye to the little boy whose movements and expressions are authentic and endearing.
A boy imitates the animals he sees on his farm and then joins his Dad. A nice, simple story with black and white illustrations and red lettering.
