A historical mystery set in 1927 New Orleans, the author does a great job of setting the mood. There are several mysteries going on and you'll be well satisfied with the ending.
This second book in the series ends in a cliffhanger of sorts when the antagonist is never revealed and the author didn't write another book in this series that's set in New Orleans. Very atmospheric. Great writing.
