“Butterfly Battle” is a humorous story about a class of students who are accidently turned into butterflies by their teacher. It takes readers through their journey as butterflies and what they encounter along the way. With the inclusion of science information, this book is both educational and interesting. There are pictures and pages with information about butterflies on them. For example, on page 3 it states, “Butterflies are not flies. But they are insects. Like other insects, they have three body sections, six legs, and a hard outer coating called an exoskeleton.” Not only is this book exciting and fun, it provides students with factual information that they can add to their knowledge. i recommend this book to children who love animals, and butterflies. I believe girls will love this book more than boys.
