A very funny book, and yet rather sad - the baby is, indeed, rather beastly, but I felt rather sorry for it.
"Its hands were both left ones" and it would make a horrid noise "when it had succeeded in doing something particularly atrocious". Attempts by its owners to abandon it are always foiled by "some officious person". Until one day...

Normalmente gosto muito da tetricidade do Gorey, mas esse livro é cruel demais até para o meu mau gosto.
