What it does it does very well. I laughed out loud. Alas, there is not a single copy of "The Snarkout Boys and the Avocado of Death" in the entire Merrimack Valley Library Consortium.
Pinkwater is the master of the wacky weird. Movie palaces, werewolves, donuts, beatniks and a chicken man all feature in this hilarious tale of two boys and their dangerous hobby of sneaking out (snarking out) of the house in the middle of the night to see movies. I can't believe this book is out-of-print. It just ain't right.
A follow up book to the Snarkout Boys and the Avocado of Death.
