I love this book, the story of the relationship between Voltaire and the Marquise du Chatelet, a significant French mathematician
I was disappointed in this book. There was a lot about the literaty and noble world of France in the 1740s to 50s but very little about their relationship. almost nothing about their work

kind of boring i had difficulty remembering who was who. s refers to everyone by their last names and lady and count.
