1055 Three Great Plays (Medea, Hippolytus, Helen) of Euripedes translated by Rex Warner (read 6 June 1970) Back in March of 1952 I read three of Sophocles' plays. Now I have read these three plays. "Medea" tells of Medea's killing of her rival for Jason, and her children. "Hippolytus" tells of Phaedra, his father's wife, and her love for him, her suicide, and Theseus' curse of Hippolytus. "Helen" tells of her in Egypt.
