This is a great reference book. Basically a comprehensive dictionary for all food and cooking terms, including many foreign terms.

Over the past couple years I have given this little book to many friends as a gift. It is quite an amazing compilation of information about all things culinary. I depend on it often to answer "what the hell is that?" ( )
