I read this in junior high school, and always remembered the title -- it's so lyrical!

This is the story of three disabled people who meet in a rehabilitation hospital and decide to live together when they are released. It's a story of friendship and of finding ways to fit in. A quick and easy read, but one that will stay with you.
Wonderful read. I first read this back in 1980 and it's back on my to read list again. Thoroughly enjoyed this strong story.
Unexpected plot twist: dog ate my book. (Oh, Lumi!) will procure new one.
