One White Rose

One White Rose isn't badly written, but it isn't anything special either. The drawing point for the story is that the story is part of the Clayborne family saga. Unfortunately, the time that we get to see the brothers interact is too short and we get no further glimpse into the Clayborne's past. I suppose it is too much to hope for more of what made For the Roses so interesting.

Douglas acude a la casa de los Grant para pagar el resto del precio de un caballo árabe y llevárselo. Al llegar se encuentra a Isabel disparándole con una escopeta y exigiéndole que se vaya, ya que cree que Douglas es uno de los asalariados del hombre que quiere quedarse con sus tierras y obligarla a casarse con él.
Isabel no puede tener más problemas, además de haber perdido a su marido, presuntamente en manos de su enemigo, en el momento en que se está enfrentando a Douglas, se ha puesto de parto y, al que temía y quería echar, le será de gran ayuda y algo más.
