Description

"Rendered in striking, explosive graphic form, many of Bob Dylan's most famous songs illustrated as they've never been before. Mesmerized by the power of his lyrics and intrigued by the possibilities of translating his powerful, enigmatic personality into art, thirteen leading graphic artists banded together to create this unusual testament to the universality and transcendent vision of an American musical genius"--Provided by publisher.

A cool new way of looking at the AMAZING lyrics of Bob Dylan. Some of the illustrations I liked, others I didn't, but I love the idea.

These artists are brave souls, putting down on paper or canvas their ideas of one of folk, rock, pop, country, and blues’ most frequently impenetrable chroniclers of life through song. Because of this, it’s a fair bet that many of their interpretations of these now-beloved songs won’t be the same as yours, which makes them all the braver.
