I wish there were more books in this series, I love it and I about to run out of stories. I sometimes wish there really was a town like this somewhere. All these hot male characters that really need stories of their own and soon. Real soon. LOL I guess my only real problem with this book is it has a plot element that I don't like, the big misunderstanding. Other than that I don't have any problems with the book and would recommend it to any that like bossy males and the woman that keep them in line.

We were introduced to Boone and Chase Jackson in the first book of this series, DESIRE FOR THREE. They are set against forming a relationship after an old lover betrayed in the worst possible way. They care very show more much for Rachel Robinson but that just can’t get over their fear. Rachel has had a thing for the Jackson brothers since she moved to Desire and she can’t understand why they won’t follow through on the heated looks that they throw her way. With a push from the overly helpful citizens of Desire the three come together in a blaze of passion that should have burned the town to the ground. But the boys fear rears its head and they handle the morning after poorly. When they find out that Rachel is pregnant they come back determined to win her over and take care of her and the child. Rachel isn’t convinced that they love her and nothing seems to help in that regard not even having her sister Erin harassing Rachel on a daily basis.

I partially understand why Boone and Chase are cautious about forming a relationship. I mean a lot of men are cautious and they don’t have the reason these two do. I do thing that they have gone a little overboard in this instance. Even just reading about Boone and Chase in the previous story I could tell that they cared very deeply for Rachel. I was concern when they carried her out of the diner that they had finally found their courage and where going to make Rachel theirs. If they had just kept their mouths shut and dated her for a little while things probably would have been great. But no they have to make a complete disaster of the next day.

I like Boone and Chase. They are men who loved to build homes and create things for the businesses around town. They are caring and loving men that just want a wife and family. They want to stay in Desire where all their friends are and a support system that they trust. They tried living away from their home but it didn't work for them. These two are also protective and possessive of Rachel and Erin. They are all dominant alpha male and they are afraid the show that side of themselves.

Rachel is the character that I don’t understand in this story. There is nothing in this story that gives me the idea that she has ever had a relationship that would have made her insecure about being loved for who she is. Erin loved her after their parents died. So why she is so certain that Boone and Chase don’t love her. She is so insecure the whole almost the whole story. Yes, these two didn't get their heads out of the ass right away. But they did try to talk to her numerous times before they found out about the baby but she wouldn't let them explain. When they did she was insulted instead of trying to understand where they were coming from. Yes, I might have been a little insulted that they would lump me in with the nitwit that betrayed them but that is how people are when they are betrayed. She goes to such an extreme to prove to herself that Boone and Chase want her as a person not because she is carrying their child.

This is a good short story but it could have used a little more background I think. I love the interaction of all the characters and it would have been nice to know what Blade did to the Kelly for showing Rachel and Erin into the club. Ms. Brooke does write some very steamy love scenes and some great spanking scenes which always lead to great sex. Each of these stories gets a little better and her experience grows.

I really liked this book. The story itself was great but to be honest, I was turned off by Chase and Boone's anal sex obsession. When Rachel found out she was pregnant, I had to go back and re-read where they acutally had "normal" not anal sex.

Rachel has been after Boone and Chase for months, but they want nothing to do with her. Seeing two other men going after her, Boone and Chase realize that they must claim her. After a night of sizzling sex, the two of them tell Rachel that they want her, but they don’t know if it will be permanent. Angry because she thinks the men whom she loves only want her for sex, she throws them out of her apartment and tries to throw them out of her life. Complications arise a few weeks later when Rachel realizes that during that one night of passion, the three of them created a baby.I like how Boone and Chase are protective, but I just didn’t really learn to love any of these characters. They were just sort of bland for me. I didn’t really show more become emotionally attached to any of them. Since I read erotica to escape my own reality, I have to be able to connec t with the characters. show less
Hot and steamy read! I really like this series. The guys can be rather arrogant at times but in the end they come around.

Really sexy story with just enough drama to keep things hopping!
