I read this Stephanie Plum short story in the anthology titled: Mary Higgins Clark presents The Plot Thickens.

En esta nueva aventura, la cazarrecompensas Stephanie Plum tiene que encontrar a Sam Franco "el Ardilla" un conocido mirón del Burg, la tarea no debería resultar difícil ya que Sam es un hombre tranquilo que no se mete con nadie, pero la situación se descontrola cuando aparece muerto en su casa y posteriormente alguien se lleva el cuerpo, además en esta ocasión Stephanie no podrá contar con su medio novio Morelli, ni con su mentor, Ranger, solo tendrá a su lado para echarle una mano a su amiga Lula, una ex-puta y a la abuela Mazur..

Janet Evanovich was born on April 22, 1943 in South River, New Jersey. She received a bachelor's degree in art from Douglas College, which is part of Rutgers University. She was working as a secretary for a temporary employment agency when she sold her first romance novel, Hero at Large, which was published in 1987 under the pseudonym Steffie show more Hall. She went on to write 12 romances in five years using her real name before beginning to write mysteries. Her first mystery novel, One for the Money, became the first book in the Stephanie Plum series.
