This is the 1954 animated rendition of the classic novel by George Orwell. This film depicts the battle between the farm animals and Farmer Jones. As in Orwell's classic tale, the animals rise up against their evil owner and declare their independence by overtaking their taskmasters. Every animal represents a different "social class" of people and even though the original intent is for all animals to be equal, in the end- the "smarter" animals rule over the dumber ones. Great satire that rings so very true. Highly recommend reading the book, but also watching this animated version of the novel.
