My name is Kara and I have been a member of LT since March 2009. I'm 42, a nurse for the DD population since 1995, married, have 2 dogs, 1 cat and 2 parrots. My life seems like a zoo at times but somehow I seem to manage to find the time to read, which keeps me sane. My reading is eclectic. I have met many wonderful people here in this group and hope to continue those friendships and possibly add new ones.

About my libraryA little of this and a little of that........Not much NF but in 2011 I exposed myself to some YA, some I didn't care for and some I was really impressed with. So in the future I hope to find some more really outstanding YA books and dabble in some more NF.

Again this year I will have 2 tickers. One to track my goal of 75 books in 2013 and the other will be a BOTS goal. I read 80 books in 2012!!! And surpassed my BOTS goal and read 14! My RL has been unkind and busy in 2012 so I was absent from LT toward the end of last year. I made a promise to a FB birdie and I am here again this year but I can't promise to visit everyone's threads and I need to not feel bad about it. I just do not have the time like some. I will try my best to post on my thread when I can.
