About meI don't own enough books, or enough bookshelves. Those are my kittens, Scout and Tucker, in the corner. They would like you to know that they are adorable.
About my libraryThis is everything I own, book-wise, with the possible exception of a handful of books still hiding in my parents' copious, disorganized collection, and it covers nearly three decades of book hoarding. My tags are loose, fairly general, and significantly less systematic than I would like.
For collections, I use "Your Library" for everything I actually own, regardless of whether it is out on loan or not. (Things I've loaned to others are also in "Books loaned to others" which could probably use a snappier name.) "Currently reading" is for everything I'm in the middle of, regardless of when I picked it up. "To read" is everything I own or have borrowed that I mean to get around to someday; borrowed books live in "Borrowed but unread" until they migrate to "Read but unowned" as their permanent home; those two collections only record stuff since collections debuted. Some of my borrowed but unread have been with me for four moves now. I'm not the most conscientious borrower of books in history. (Sorry! I promise I'll get them back to you!)
If, in browsing my catalogue, you come across wrong or otherwise screwed-up data, please please please let me know. (Combiners especially!) I am always trying to make the data more complete and accurate. Thanks!

Thanks for your message. No rush! I'm always behind on everything too, so take your time. Life's too short for rushing, if that makes any sense.

Thanks for the note. You seem to be a voracious reader. I admire that. I have two reviews so far on Delaying Death, which have some valid criticisms but are also quite encouraging. I am hoping to get them to post their reviews over on Amazon soon as well. I appreciate all of you guys doing these Member Giveaways because it's important for readers to see reviews that are clearly not from the "friends-and-family crowd," if you know what I mean...=)
Most all of my assigned reviewers (who happen to ALL be women) are writing their first review with my book, and that's okay. You are by far the most experienced reviewer. I look forward to your thoughts, whatever they may be... =)

Seriuously though, they have everything that has ever been written. I would start with Friedel's book on the Maya cosmos. David knows his stuff, and has a great style.
