Didn't really draw me in, but---while I read a lot of LGBT YA novels---I'm not exactly the target audience. So whatever. ( ) This is an interesting book. The characters are believable and complex and the plot draws you in. Nina bothered me more than once, her relationship with Steve (to me) was just dumb, we didn't learn enough about them to care and she just seemed pathetic to me when it came to him. Personally, I loved Parker. The way Avery and Mel's relationship changed from best friend to girlfriends was well done. Both characters were great. Mel was my favorite. Its a simple fun book, not too deep, an easy quick read, but worth it. This was a nice change to the usual stuff I read. Highschool students. Romances. University antics. I like how it was split between the lives of the three main characters. You get everyones perspective and everyones story. I love being able to see things from all angles. I don't understand why this book got so much crap from schools. It was a good story. I didn't see anything wrong with it. no reviews | add a review
